How do you know when the "Cam Shalfit sensor does not work correctly on a 89 Buick LeSabre?

Recently I found the code 41 in my car and was code 41, but the car starts on a dime and large breeds, I can say what the problem is why the code here?

the magnet on the cam gear fell. It happens all the time on this engine. Should not be a problem if you have no check engine light at all times.
