easiest way to convert or copy a segment of a mini DV recording on a DVD or CD?
Is there a company or service that can make easier or cheaper than I can? I do not think that my camcorder can be connected to the computer. Is it complicate things?
There are places that MiniDV DVD conversion, but they are pricy. I know because I DVD authorizing. It's really easy for you your car. There are two easy ways to do it fast. Option # 1: Record video on your computer using a USB or FireWire cable to connect your device to the computer. Then use a video editing software for download images to your computer. generic software, such as Windows Movie Maker or iMovie work very well. Trim clip if you want, if that's not fine. Then export (create, make, build, etc.) the clip in a new movie file. After using the DVD software such as burying Nero, Roxio or iDVD for DVD recording. Option # 2: Use a standalone DVD player / recorder. Connect the camera to the unit via a FireWire or analog RCA (yellow, white, red). Tape Playback DV, and burn to DVD, as you would a VCR. Here are some options. For best results as their own menus or different designs and a better overview of the film, you just change the first option.
